(.38S&W), With the unusual and desirable 5” octagon barrel, nickel finish, wood grips, lanyard ring, serial #3945 under the grip. This gun is in overall fine condition showing approx. 90% original nickel finish, mechanically perfect, crisp action, sharp markings, strong bright bore. With lanyard ring retained. The top of the frame is marked "HOPKINS & ALLEN M'F'G. CO." "PAT. MCH 28 71 MAY 27 79" "XL No. 5 .38 CAL CENTRE FIRE". The sights have been upgraded to adjustable for windage which most defiantly improved accuracy. This is a single action spur trigger.
