Description: This Merwin Hulbert .38 is in great condition. It has the desirable folding hammer and the 3 1/2" barrel. All parts are original and it functions like new. The bore rifling is strong a 9+ on a scale of 1 to 10. A Merwin Hulbert & Co. Medium Frame DA Pocket Model in .38 S&W centerfire. This 5 shot double action Merwin Hulbert was a very high quality revolver and a serious competitor with Colt, S&W and Remington. This Pocket Model shows 90% bright nickel finished in very nice condition. Its hard rubber grips are in perfect condition. Also included is the original catalog flap holster. Note: the barrel length marked on the belt loop. These revolvers were known for the tight machining tolerance and this one is no exception, very tight and mechanically excellent. This gun is an antique and may be shipped directly to you. Sold as an Antique ~ no guarantees, warranties, or liabilities for any actual usage.
