Smith & Wesson Model 37-2 Chief's Special Air Weight Revolver in 38 Special
This Smith & Wesson Model 37-2 is in 38 Special, Double Action with a 1 7/8” barrel. It has checkered walnut square-butt magna grips with silver Smith & Wesson medallions. Anodized black finish on the aluminum frame and blue finish on the steel components of this revolver. This revolver features a serrated blade front sight and integrated fixed rear sight.

Condition:
The overall condition of this S & W Model 37-2 Chief's Special is in excellent condition. It has a bright near-excellent bore. The metal surfaces of this Chief’s Special Air Weight revolver retain 99% black anodized finish on the aluminum frame showing only very light handling marks. The steel components retain closer to 95% blue finish showing finish loss around the crown of the muzzle, a slight turn ring on the cylinder, and minimal high edge silvering in some spots. The combat hammer and service trigger rate excellent showing nice mild case coloring. The checkered walnut square-butt grips rate excellent showing only some very minor softening of the diamond points. The timing and lockup are smooth.
