Pretty nice gun overall, function is as it should be, locks up perfectly with little to no cylinder wiggle, bore and chambers look nearly new. The finish is the hi polish very dark blue finish, checkered grips in excellent condition and the 180,xxx serial is toward the end of production and correct time frame. There a couple of dings in the barrel finish and a very small area of barrel blue wear just forward of the cylinder- also has the cylinder ring but just superficial- cannot be felt with a fingernail. Very small commercial production numbers, compared to the military production of the 1917 by colt and s&w.
