It is matching serial number 22234 and comes with a factory letter stating it shipped Jan. 22, 1884 to Hibbard, Spencer, & Bartlett Co. Chicago, IL. The mechanical function and index is very good, crisp and tight. The bore is very good with strong rifling except for some very fine frosting from the corrosive black powder. I would consider trades for pre 1899 ANTIQUE PISTOLS and rifles on any of my items.. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO TRADE?
