This Smith & Wesson was produced around 1955. This model "K" frame is the 5 screw frame with pinned barrel. The pistol's serial number is K 289975. This pistol has the 6 inch barrel. The bore is in fine bright condition with sharp lands. This pistol can shoot the 22 Short, Long and Long Rifle cartridge. The action works crisply with a nice trigger release. The original high polish factory bluing would rate a 98% or better condition. The color cased hammer and trigger have nice coloring! The grips are not serial numbered to this pistol. These grips are the correct style for this pistol however. The sights are original to this pistol. This Smith & Wesson is in fantastic condition and would appeal to any shooter and collector!
