Smith & Wesson Model K 22 Masterpiece Pre Model 17 With Original Box
Description: This Smith & Wesson was produced in 1956. The pistol's serial number is K 268347. It has the four screw frame with the pinned barrel. The 6 inch barrel has the standard target sight post. The rear sight is fully adjustable. The grips have the diamond checkering by the mounting screw. These grips are serial numbered to this pistol. The color cased hammer and trigger show very strong color. The barrel and cylinder are also serial numbered to the frame. The action is crisp and very smooth! This pistol shows little use and wear. The original bluing would rate a 97% oveall condition . The muzzle area shows the most blue loss. The grips are in very fine condition with all of the finish intact. The bore is very fine with no issues. The chambers are in fine condition with no issues also. This pistol also has the original box and cleaning brush. The box is in fine condition and is sound. The bottom half of the box has a tape repair on the side wall from the hammer of the pistol rubbing there. The serial number is on the bottom of the box which is the same as the pistol.
