1950 Smith & Wesson K-38 Target MasterPiece Gold Box Curio & Relic S&W-Pre Model 14
Description: 1950 Smith & Wesson K-38 Target Masterpiece chambered in .38 S&W Special. Built on the 5 screw K Frame immediately following the war. Double Action, features a 6" barrel with a Patridge front sight and a micrometer click rear sight. Blued finish, color cased target hammer and target trigger. The revolver retains nearly all of its blued finish. It appears to not have been in a holster much as no real evidence of muzzle wear exist. A few spots on the finish exist on the right side, perhaps from sitting in the box for 75 years. The bore is bright with excellent rifling. Original Diamond Square Butt Stocks that are numbered to the gun. Pinned barrel, serrated front and rear grip straps for good shooting grip. This revolver is numbered on the bottom of the grip frame, under the barrel, under the stock and on the cylinder face.
