Smith & Wesson Model 15-3 K-38 Combat Masterpiece, Nickel, 4”, .38 S&W Special, 1968


Description:
For your consideration is a Smith and Wesson Model 15-3 Combat Masterpiece. It was manufactured in Springfield, MA in 1968.

It features a nickel finish, pinned barrel, walnut target grips, micrometer click adjustable rear sight, semi-target hammer (.375”) and serrated service trigger (.265”). Also includes an extra-wide (.530”) serrated trigger shoe.

The original factory nickel finish is excellent with only minor handling wear.

All numbers match including the ejector star.
 
The bore is mirror bright with sharp rifling, the chambers are clean.

Mechanically excellent with tight lockup, crisp trigger, and smooth action. Trigger pull on a Wheeler gauge (average of 10 pulls) measures 6 lbs 4 oz in double action, 1 lbs 13 oz in single action.

Overall, a nice older Combat Masterpiece for your collection or shooting pleasure.
