Serial No. 19406, made in 1903, .455, 6"" Wilkinson, Gunmakers, Pall Mall, London, S.W. marked barrel. Revolver was issued to Oliver Fredrick Gillian Hogg. Back strap is inscribed with ""O.F.G Hogg"". Hogg had an extensive military career from 1907-1946. He would fight in France from 1914-1915 where he would become Assistant Supervisor Ordnance Factories in 1917, Inspector in 1931. He would become Brigadier General for the War Office in 1939. 90% blue is remaining with scattered areas of discoloration visible. Bore is very good with strong rifling noted. Wooden checkered grips have minor handling were visible, the number ""2419"" is stamped on the bottom. This is a Wilkinson control number. Action functions correctly.
