Chief's Medallion seen on top of butt stock-no chips and completely intact mother of pearl. The lock plate on the right is marked “JOSEPH GOLCHER” in banner, brass trigger guard, butt plate, and detailed engravings/inlays. Heavy, full length octagonal barrel. Rifles of this caliber were usually custom made for chief leaders.This is a rare and top-notch example of a full length, percussion style Antique Trade Rifle.
