Action Type: Percussion Cap lock
Markings: Left side rear of the barrel is marked "40 cal"
Barrel Length: 32 inches and 1 inch across the flats, made by Green Mountain Barrel Company
Sights / Optics: Rear site appears to be a hand made York County style, Front site also hand made iron. Neither are finished off ,but the site picture is precise.
Stock Configuration & Condition: Perch belly light finished Walnut,
Type of Finish: Blue / Case Color Hardened
Finish Originality: this is a hand made gun and all is original.
Bore Condition: Bright and shiny sharp rifling.
Overall Condition: The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
