Serial #03265NT247, .45-70 Government, 28 inch octagon barrel with an excellent bore. This is the Browning Model 1885 High Wall, falling block rifle featuring a straight grip English walnut stock and gold trigger. In excellent condition the barrel and frame retain 94-96% of the original high polish blue with slight wear on a few edges of the barrel and some scattered light handling and use marks. The high gloss checkered stock and schnabel tip forearm rate about excellent with some light use marks and surface finish level impact marks. It is sighted with a Marbles flip up tang peep and tang front blade sights with a blank in the rear sight dovetail and factory drilled and tapped for an optics mount.
