Antique Model 1843 Hall-North Breech Loading Carbine .52 Cal Smooth Bore
Description: These guns were made by Simon North between 1843 and 1853. It is a .52 cal smooth bore. It has an operating lever on the right side, which raises the breech to be loaded. The 1st and 2nd Dragoons used these in the Mexican War. Many Union Regiments were issued these during the Civil War. These included outfits in Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, New York and Indiana, among others. This is a nice clean example with excellent wood. It retains the long sling bar and ring as well as the ram rod. US only – no International sales. Buyer pays $30.00 shipping. Three day inspection allowed if returned UNALTERED.
