Here is an excellent custom Remington Model 30 in .30-06. The metalwork is by Phil Fisher, and the stock was built by Bill Ferguson. The beautifully rust-blued 24" barrel has an excellent bore. It features a banded front sight and a unique thumb-adjustable rear express sight. A Leupold M8 4x scope is mounted in Buehler mounts. The scope has a duplex reticle and excellent optics. The rifle has a very smooth action. It has a two-position safety, a Mauser-style bolt release and a Timney trigger. Mr. Ferguson stocked the rifle in a figured piece of California walnut. The length of pull is 14 5/8" including a solid red pad. The weight (scoped) is 9 lbs 6 oz. A fabulous, high quality rifle that appears to have been used very little, if at all.
