The rifle features a 16.5″ heavy barrel without open sights, but with an 11mm dovetail groove for mounting a scope. An Area 419 30MOA scope base has been mounted. The base includes an integral bubble level at the back. The base itself is of T7075 aluminum and is machined by Area 419 in-house using their Haas VF4SS 4-axis machining center. The base is designed to slide onto the dovetail and be clamped down with a force that is consistent across the entire rail. It is intended for shooters pushing their .22 LRs out to 300 yards or more.
