Make/Origin: Suhl guild manufacture, retailed by F.C. Stahl & Sohn in Hamburg (rib marked)
Type: Side-by-side double rifle
Caliber: 9.3×72 D (Deutsche Normal)
Barrels: 25½" blued, solid rib, soldered front sling loop
Weight: 7.42 lb (3.37 kg)
Action: Boxlock, double triggers, manual safety with gold-inlaid “S”
Proofs: Suhl pre-WWII crown proofs (Crown/E, Crown/G, Crown/U), rifled, final inspection
Sights: Express rear; regulated for traditional 9.3×72R D loads
Stock: Highly figured walnut with cheekpiece, fine wrap checkering, engraved steel buttplate & grip cap; factory cartridge trap in butt (felt-lined) holding three original NORMA 9.3×72R D cartridges
Decoration/Grade: Deep relief game scenes (stag/roe deer) with extensive scroll & rosette engraving throughout; gold monogram “C-E-B” in the grip roundel
