The action bears the marking “R. Famage 1957” which is an acceptance mark that shows that the rifle was converted to .30-06 for use by the Columbian Military. Their previous rifles had been 7x57 Mausers made by FN in Belgium. A great rifle with a mint bore, and a great piece of history as well.
