Description: A Favorite of classical African hunters and writers such as W.M.D. Bell and Ernest Hemingway, this rifle and its 6.5×54mm cartridge has handily proven itself as a fantastic plains game cartridge. As well Hemingway touted it as a fine lion cartridge and Bell is known to have taken as many as 300 elephants with it. In addition to its sporting usage this rifle has a proven service record with the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, the Kingdom of Greece, Albania and even saw some use with various warlords armies during the Chinese Civil War under the Republic of China (Taiwan).
