This Model 1894 Marlin was produced around 1905. The Model 1894 Marlin's serial number is 214729. This Marlin has a octagonal barrel chambered to shoot the 38 W.C.F. Cartridge. The bore on this barrel is in very fine condition with a bright shiny bore. The action works fine with no issues. The sights are original to this rifle. The original bluing on the barrel would rate about 55 to 60 % condition. The magazine tube is mostly brown patina. The receiver would also rate patina condition. the lever does have some very light traces of color cased finish. The stock and forend have no damage or other issues. The original wood finish is fully intact. This is a honest used but not abused Marlin that should appeal to many collectors!
