This example is equipped with 30mm Mauser quick-detachable scope rings, allowing rapid optic removal while retaining the excellent standing island express rear sight and banded front sight for backup iron-sight use. The trigger is crisp and can be pushed forward into a refined set (hair) trigger, and the safety system both locks and decocks the rifle for secure handling in the field. Condition is excellent, showing only very faint handling wear. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, the action operates smoothly, and it is mechanically outstanding. Metal surfaces retain virtually all original finish. The rifle is stocked in beautifully figured walnut with a right-hand cheekpiece, palm swell, ebony forend tip, and ebony grip cap, all accented by sharp checkering.
