This rifle does show light service use and wear. There is no sign of abuse or rough handling. The original faded bluing would rate a 80% or better condition. The front sight hood is intact. The stock and forend is correctly made by laminated stock blanks. There is no issues or damage to the stock and forend. The original leather sling is in fine serviceable condition. This is a very nice all original Model 98k rifle that would appeal to the military collector.
