The Mauser model 4000 is a vintage push-feed bolt-action hunting rifle manufactured between 1969 and 1975. Produced in collaboration with the German gunmaker Heym, it was designed as a lightweight, small-caliber sporting rifle ideal for varmint hunting and target shooting. Bolt action (push-feed). Primarily chambered in .222 Remington and .223 Remington. Produced by Heym for Mauser-Werke. It shares a similar design footprint with the Mauser Model 3000 but was scaled down specifically for shorter cartridges like 223. This one is in shape with some handling marks and some fade on the aluminum floor plate.
