Very nice Example of a True 1873 Trapdoor Saddle Ring Carbine ! Serial number 189229. Gun is In overall excellent condition! Barrel has all of the solid blue still remaining! Thinning but still bright . Some light handling marks . Frame and trapdoor also have all there original finish still remaining! Vivid Case Colors are remaining! Original wood stock is in excellent condition with handling marks . Cartouche is not visible. Outline partial visible . Wood to metal fit is Excellent . Gun has correct "C" marked rear sight and correct front sight . Correct original saddle ring still remaining. Correct carbine Butt plate . This is a all correct and original 1873 Trapdoor Carbine! Bore and mechanics are in excellent condition. Gun is in excellent working order. Please review my photos and please email me with any questions ? 3 day inspection as allways!
