Inland Division Of General Motors M1 Carbine In Original Condition.
Description: The Carbine's barrel date is 1-44. The serial number is 4944736. This is a collector grade carbine with all correct original parts for that serial number range and date. All of the parts and barrel have the original finish intact. The bolt is the flat style with the blued finish. It has the original Inland barrel dated 1-44. The bore is minty with sharp lands. It has the original rear flip sight. It has the correct type one barrel band. That barrel band is marked UI on the band. The stock has the ordnance wheel on the right side near the oiler cut out. In the sling well on the left side is the IO stamp. The stock and hand guard have the original finish intact. It has the correct World War Two Sling and oiler with this gun. The magazine has the correct code for this carbine. This gun has seen little use or field service. This is an original as issued Inland that has not been altered or messed with. The carbine's look and condition would rate a strong 95% overall condition. This gun is certainly a collector grade Carbine that any military collector would be happy to have in their collection!
