Production of the M41 continued until 1949 when the assts of the company were purchased by Winchester. After that Melvin Johnson produced some bolt action rifles. This hard-to-find rifle is bult on a FN commercial Mauser 98 action. The action has been milled, and the magazine box lengthened to accept the long .300 H&H cartridge. It has a Bishop stock and an adjustable trigger. It should make a fine big game rifle. .300 H&H Magnum
