Smith Corona Model 1903-A3 Springfield Style Rifle In Near New Condition
Description: This Smith Corona's barrel date is 7-43. The rifle's serial number is 4751919. It has the Smith Corona barrel with the ordnance bomb stamped below the S C. The bore is in minty condition. The front sight has the sight hood intact. This rifle has all of the correct stamped parts as issued for the 03-A3 rifles. These parts have the correct blued and parkerized finishes as issued. The stock and hand guard have the original finish intact. There is no wood damage or cracks. The inspector stamp FJA in a box and Ordnance wheel are stamped on the stock below the safety. There is no rebuild stamps on this gun. The action works snug with no rattling. The reciever has all of the original finish intact. The bolt face shows very little use or being fired. The rear sight is intact with no damage. This rifle is in fine original as issued condition. This rifle would rate a 98% or better overall condition. These Smith Corona Model 1903-A3 rifles were produced in limited quanities. It is estimated that Smith Corona produced 243580 rifles total.
