Remington Arms Co. Springfield Model 1903-A3 In Early Production
Description: The barrel date is 1-43. The rifle's serial number is 3384825. It has the standard 24 inch barrel. This rifle is in new unissued condition. It is chambered for the 30 Government 1906 service round. The bore is in new condition. The stock and handguard have all of the original finish intact. The front sight has the sight protector intact. The bolt face shows very little use or being fired. All of the correct stamps are present. On the left side of the stock by the magazine selector switch is stamped in a box F.J.A. and a ordnance wheel. The original blued parts are in in near new condition with a bright finish. The parkerized parts have all of the finish intact. This rifle has not seen war service and wear. This is a very fine condition early 1903-A3 by Remington! The plastic oiler and cleaning brush is in the stock compartment. This rifle would be a very fine example of the Remington model 1903-A3 for any military collector to have in their collection! This rifle also comes with a World War Two Bandoleer With original 30 Government 1906 A. P. cartridges in 5 round chargers for the Springfield rifles. These shells were loaded at the Saint Louis Ordnance plant in 1944. These shells are in fine clean condition and are a great item to display with this rifle!
