The 24 inch barrel is chambered to shoot the 30 Government 1906 cartridge [30-06] The bore is bright with no issues. This rifle retains 99% or better of all of the original finish. The stock has no damage or other issues. The wood still has the original finish intact. This rifle shows no real sign of ever being issued. The sling is an original World War 2 sling dated 1944. The plastic oiler and tool carrier is original to this rifle. This Remington 1903-A3 is a excellent example of the war time 1903-A3's. Many of these guns saw hard service use and wear.
