Description:
**NICE** SAVAGE ANSCHUTZ Model 153. Mfg in 1965 in West Germany. Chambered in the excellent .222 Rem. cartridge. Barrel is 24" with excellent bore. Factory iron sights. Receiver is both grooved and factory tapped. Has Weaver blocks. 5-shot magazine. Beautiful French walnut stock with rollover cheekpiece and Rosewood foretip and grip cap. Wood does show some light usage and handling marks, but nothing major. I would rate 90%+. Finish is original. Blueing is quite nice overall. I would give it 95%. Sides of front sight ramp show some marks and touch up. Sight hood is absent. Nice early Anschutz in the highly accurate Triple Duece. $75.00 Shipping & Insurance to your FFL in the lower 47.
