This rifle was made by John Vest who was an instructer at the Lassen Community College School of Gunsmithing in Susanville, California. The barrel is 26 inches long with a thin profile. The stock is high grade checkered walnut with an Ebony fore end cap, a cheek piece, a steel grip cap. and a Niedner bott plate. Workmanship is superb throughout. Condition is Excellent overall, and the bore is bright and shiny. This rifle is equipped with a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5 scope in 2 piece Leupold style mounts that is included in the price. The scope and mounts will not be removed and the rifle repriced without them.
