The Springfield Model 1903 is a legendary U.S. military bolt-action rifle, chambered in .30-06 Springfield and adopted in the early 20th century. It remains a highly collectible piece of American military history and a capable hunting rifle when outfitted with optics.
This particular example, serial number 826793, was produced at Springfield Armory in 1918, during the latter part of World War I.
