Also note that the barrel timing marks are matched and the barrel is correctly proof "P" marked. The bore is excellent and  9/10 mirror bright with excellent rifling. Has a great Carbine "issued" look. Your chance to buy an original 1899 Carbine.  You'll need your choice of a stock and rear sight. Restore to a 1899 Calvary carbine,  or make a hunting sporting rifle.
