This gun has paperwork which is 100% original. This gun S#528508 is one of fifty two Springfield Trapdoor Carbines that was rented for use in John Ford's production of She wore a yellow ribbon staring John Wayne. There is only 14 of 52 that are still accounted for since 1948. This is guaranteed 100% authentic. Stock is marked with "S" as seen in picture.
