Westley Richards & Co. 375 H&H Mag. Bolt Action ca. 1955. Built on a magnum length commercial Mauser action with a 3-position M70 type safety, and fitted with a 25" barrel with a single standing Express island rear sight and a ramp front sight.
English walnut stock is original with a drop belly magazine, single steel recoil bar, steel grip cap and traditional flat top checkering. Blank stock oval and typical rear sling eye and barrel mounted front sling eye. 14 1/4" LOP over a Silver's pad.
Rifle features a period correct Griffin & Howe side mount. It it not uncommon to encounter Westley Richards rifles with G&H side mounts, especially on rifles from the 1950's.
This is a nice example of a post WWII WR rifle chambered in one of the most diverse sporting cartridges ever invented. The rifle is in excellent original condition and very typical of a 1950's era WR rifle. A Classic rifle from one of England's most famous makers and in a very relevant and useful configuration.
Gun is in excellent overall original condition and Weighs 10 lbs. 3 oz.
