The metal and markings are also excellent and have almost no bumps or bruises, but the finish has completely gone away to a thin smooth brown patina. The wood is also near excellent with just a few very minor bumps and dings. Standard trigger and open low buckhorn rear sight and pinched blade front. For the shootist who wants a mid-1880s rifle with a REALLY exceptional bore for competitive shooting, this rifle certainly has about the best bore that one could ever hope to find!! About VG++ since it has no significant blue remaining. $2195
