Winchester Early Oval Cut M1 Carbine In Original Service Condition
Description: SOLD This Winchester Carbine was produced in November of 1943. The carbine's serial number is 1281303. It has the standard 18 inch Winchester undated barrel. The bore is in very fine bright condition with no issues. All of the parts are correct for the serial number range and production date. Almost all of the parts are correctly marked with the"W". The other parts are left correctly unmarked. This carbine has the correct blued flat bolt. The extractor and firing pin is "W" marked. The Magazine is Winchester coded as well as the oiler. The Winchester high wood stock is marked W.R.A - G.H.D. with no box around the letters. The sling well has the "W" stamped in the well. The hand guard is "W" stamped. This carbine has the correct early "flip" rear sight that is original to this gun and not restored. This carbine is in service used condition. There is no abuse to this carbine. The wood has all of the original finish intact. There are some minor dings present on the stock. This is a very nice service used Winchester carbine! This carbine has not been rebuilt or restored. It is getting very difficult to find original M1 carbines in original as issued condition today! Here is an original as issued Winchester Carbine that would be a great addition in any collection!
