Winchester M1 Garand All Winchester Service Used With Bayonet And Accessories
Description: This Winchester was produced around January of 1944. The rifle's serial number is 2384029. This rifle has the original 30 Government 1906 [30-06] chambered Winchester barrel that is not dated. The bore is in very fine condition with a bright bore. This Winchester has all of the original parts intact. The hammer, safety, trigger guard and trigger housing is properly Winchester Marked. The metal parts have most of the original finish intact. The original finish would rate a 90% or better condition. The operating rod is uncut or unaltered. The gas nut is the correct early style single slot. The rear sight is the correct lock bar style. The stock has the faded and worn W.R.A. G.H.D. in a box inspector stamp below the rear sight on the left side of this stock. This stock and hand guard show much service use and wear. There is no cracks or other wood damage to this stock. The original world war 2 sling is dated 1944. The stock butt plate compartment contain the original tools and oiler as would have been issued at that time. The bayonet is by American Fork And Hoe. There is no date on this blade. The bayonet is in fine condition with it's original finish. There is no sign of being sharpened. This is a very fine Winchester that has seen War service. This rifle has not been through a rebuild program and is in it's original issued condition. Having the correct original accessories, sling and bayonet really adds to the total package! This Winchester would be a very fine addition to any collection!
