Winchester Model 1892 Rifle Octagon Barrel In 25-20 W.C.F. Special sights.
Description: This Winchester was produced in 1896. The rifle's serial number is 121526. This rifle is fitted with a 24 inch octagon barrel. The bore is bright and shiney. The sights are the standard rear sight with the elevator. The front sight is adustable for windage with folding hood aperture. There is also a correct period Lyman tang sight with large disk. The barrel and magazine blue would rate a 95% overall condition. The reciever would rate a 90% blue. There are traces of color case finish on the lever and hammer. The stock and forend retain most of the original varnish. There are no cracks or other damage to the wood. The action is tight and works smoothly.
