Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine In 32-40 W.C.F. With Button Magazine.
Description:
This Winchester was produced in 1906. This carbine's serial number is 371544. This Winchester Carbine has the standard 20 inch round barrel chambered to shoot the 32-40 W.C.F. cartridge. The carbine's bore is in Good + condition with good lands. The front sight is original to this carbine. The rear sight is a Marble's fold down sight. The barrel and button magazine retain about 95% or better of the original bluing. The receiver is in mostly patina condition. The bolt retains 88% of the original bluing. The stock and forend have been refinished. During the refinish work the factory checkering was mostly sanded off. There is a shadow outline of that checkering. This carbine functions correctly with no issues. There is no cracks or other damage to the wood. This is a nice special order Winchester with the Checkered stock and button magazine. Being a 32-40 W.C.F. also adds to this carbines appeal.
