This Winchester Saddle Ring Carbine was produced in 1929. The Carbine's serial number is 1070675. This gun has the standard 20 inch carbine barrel chambered for the 23 Winchester Special [ 32WS ]. The bore is in very fine bright minty condition. The carbine sights are original to this Winchester. The action works smoothly with no issues. The original bluing on the barrel, barrel band and magazine tube would rate a 98% or better condition. The receiver bluing is flaking and would rate a 30% bluing with the rest of the surface turning a light brown patina. The bolt retains most of the original bluing. The stock and forend are in fine condition. The stock does have some light scratches and one nick from field use and wear. The forend is in very fine new looking condition. This carbine shows light use but well cared for condition. This saddle ring carbine is a very fine example of these Winchester Carbines! This gun belongs in a fine Winchester collection to enjoy!
