Winchester Model 1895 In The Rare Take Down Feature In 35 Winchester
Description: This Winchester was produced in 1915. The rifle's serial number is 74543. It has a 24 inch round take down barrel. The take down feature is tight and locks up with no play. This take down feature is ajustable to tighten the action if required. The bore is bright with no issues. This rifle is fitted with the Winchester sling eyes. The sights are special order on this rifle The front sight has the flip up white dot for better seeing in poor light. The rear sight has a globe disk to center the front sight. It also has the Lyman reciever sight that is precision wheel adjustable. The stock has the steel shotgun buttplate. The stock and forend have no damage or cracks. The wood retains all of the original finish. The barrel blue would rate a 97% overall condition. The reciever would rate a 15% overall condition. The rest of the reciever is silvery with no rust or patina. The action is tight and works smoothly. This is a great shooting rifle! I have six boxes of reloads with the R.C.B.S. dies that will go with this rifle. The take down feature is rare with the Model 1895. The sights are also a rare combination for this rifle.
