Winchester Model 61 22 Long Rifle Shot Only Counter Bored Shotgun
Description: SOLD This Winchester was produced in 1955. The shotgun's serial number is 223006. This shotgun was a special order gun as by that time these shotguns were out of standard production. It has the standard 24 inch barrel. The front sight is the shotgun nickel silver bead. There is no provision for a rear sight. The receiver is the grooved top style. The counter bore is 8 inches. This Smooth Bore is marked 22 Long Rifle for Shot Only. This shotgun is very slightly used, There is some rub marks on the magazine tube and operating rod. The original bluing would rate a 98% overall condition. The stock and pump handle retain all of the original varnish. There is no damage to the wood or cracks. This is a very fine condition Winchester Model 61 Shotgun! These counter bored guns are quite rare and highly sought after!
