WINCHESTER MODEL 65 RIFLE CHAMBERED IN 218 BEE

Description:
24 inch round barrel chambered in 218 Bee caliber that has an excellent bore. Bright and shiny with strong rifling throughout. Barrel retains about 92% original blue. Button magazine. Receiver has two drilled and tapped holes added with plug screws on the left side. Receiver has about 40% original blue mostly on left side and in protected areas. The balance flaked and turned a pleasant deep brown gray patina. Lever shows about 85% bright blue. Bolt is slotted for a bolt peep that is no longer present. Remaining sights include a ramped front with hood and a sporting rear. Smooth walnut pistolgrip buttstock and forend are very good plus retaining most original finish with typical light handling marks and correct checkered steel buttplate.
