The rifle is in very good to excellent condition , showcasing flawless mechanical operation, a bright bore with crisp rifling, and excellent preservation on its standout gold-plated receiver and barrel bands. The left side of the receiver features a beautifully engraved railroad spike flanked by the historic dates 1869 and 1969 , while the tang is proudly stamped with "Oceans United by Rail."
