The bore is pitted in places and brown but the rifling is strong and very “shootable”. Exterior finishes appear to be original and grade: antique fair to good. Modern grading I would call the rifle 40-50%. 24” octagon barrel with correct buckhorn rear sight and silver blade front sight. Straight grip stock with crescent steel butt plate. This is a very early ANTIQUE rifle suitable for any Winchester lever collection.
