Import mark on underside of receiver next to the serial number that is barely visible. Crisp action. Half length magazine. Walnut pistol grip stock is in very good with some scattered minor dings and handling marks. Two neatly filled holes in the bottom of the stock where a sling swivel was previously mounted. Checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Only 5,704 Model 65's were manufactured from 1933 to 1947 and this rifle was made in 1937.
