Winchester Model 1876 Rifle In 45-75 W.C.F. In Frontier Used Condition

This Winchester was produced in 1881. The rifle's serial number is 19640. This rifle has the standard 28 inch round barrel chambered to shoot the 45-75 cartridge. The barrel and carrier are unmarked with the chambering. This caliber of 45-75 W.C.F.  is the standard chambering for the 1876 rifles. It is customary  for this caliber to be unmarked on the rifles and carbines. The bore is in fair condition. The action works fine. The hammer still has the two distinctive cocks. The extractor is the earlier style without the top hump to withdraw the dust cover. This rifle is in patina condition. The sights are original to this rifle. The stock and forend have no cracks. The stock does have many scuff marks and stock gouges present. This rifle shows frontier use and wear.
