Winchester Model 1890 22 Short Gallery Gun In Rare Half Nickel Finish

This Winchester was produced in 1924. The rifle's serial number is 673468. This rifle was chambered to shoot the 22 Short only. The bore is in good condition. There is no pitting to this barrel. This rifle has the Gallery speed cut to the magazine tube loading slot. The sights are the correct style original sights. The original bluing would rate a brown patina tone finish. There is some original bluing in protected places. The original nickel plating is in very fine condition. There is no peeling of the finish. The receiver plating has some light speckling of the surface in places. The finish itself is in about 95% overall condition on the receiver. The bolt is in about the same condition. The upper tang retains all of the plating. The lower tang has a spot of finish loss by the serial numbers. The butt plate retains about 96% of the original plating. The stock and pump handle is in fine condition with no damage. The action works correctly with no issues. These half Nickel finished guns are considered rare. This Winchester being a Gallery Gun in this finish is quite rare! This Winchester belongs in a very fine Winchester collection! The gallery box of ammunition is for sale.
