Winchester Early Model 1894 Standard Rifle In Almost Unfired Condition
Description: This Winchester was produced in 1895. The rifle's serial number is 19398. It is chambered for the 38-55 W.C.F. cartridge. The round barrel is fitted with the standard sights for that model. The barrel and full magazine retain all of the original bluing. The bore is in minty condition. The hammer, buttplate and lever retain all of the color cased finish. The lever especially shows vivid color case. The bolt face shows no sign of being fired. The reciever retains almost all of the bluing. There is some fine surface lines on both sides of the reciever. The bolt retains all of the bluing. The extractor shows vivid nitre bluing. The underside of the rifle retains all of the bluing. There is no blue loss where the rifle is normally carried. The stock and forend retain all of the factory finish. There is no cracks or damage to the wood. This is a extremely well preserved good looking standard rifle in a hard to find cartridge. It is difficult to find standard rifles in this fine of condition today. Most of these rifles were used as intended and show it. They were not as well cared for as the higher grade models were. That's why so few of them are found in this nice of condition. This early Winchester is a real find for the collector to have in their collection! Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
